Squatch Nosh was born from one dad’s quest to get his kids to eat real vegetables — with a little help from a Sasquatch.

Hi, I’m Mark — a graphic designer with 20+ years of experience, and now, the unlikely founder of a freeze-dried veggie startup.

Squatch Nosh started during the COVID lockdowns, when I was home every day making lunch for my young kids. Like many parents, I faced the daily challenge of getting them to eat real, nutritious food. One day, my daughter looked at her plate and said, “I don’t want to see the vegetables,” and proceeded to eat with her eyes closed. That moment stuck with me — and became the spark for our kid approved hidden vegetables idea: Stealthy Squatch.

A while later, we took a family road trip through Vermont, Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. Everywhere we went, we spotted Sasquatch iconography — bumper stickers, roadside signs, T-shirts, and gift shop trinkets. Somewhere between a gas station in Bangor and a gift shop in Cape Breton, it clicked: who better to represent wild, natural, healthy living than a Sasquatch? And just like that, Squatch Nosh was born.

At its core, this brand is built on one simple belief: we should eat well whenever we can — even when life is busy. I love the idea of bringing real, farm-grown nutrients into our kitchens in a way that’s convenient, fun, and actually tastes good.

It hasn’t been easy. Sourcing the right vegetables for each theme has been a challenge — this idea is more unique than I realized at first. But I believe in it. With time, I’m confident I’ll be able to create any blend I can imagine — and help people feed themselves and their families better, one bowl at a time.

Thanks for being here — and for noshing a little better, with a little help from The Squatch.”
